Visibility and gameplay

Visibility:

I think this screenshot is a nice excample of the visibility problem - where are the 4 players and where is the boss? And if you cant even see much on a screenshot - imagine how much worse its ingame.

I like the effects but we need some optional features to keep the game playable.




Also the effects in a full party even seem to kill my system - which makes the extreme lagg that the game has lately even worse.

Visibility Issues:
The game from my point of view has a problem with visibility in many normal areas (depending on clutter and textures) but especially in party-gameplay.



In regards to Skills:

for example the targeted raise zombies skills
while it is easy with the unearth skill its rather hard with the raise zombie skill if there is a lot going on since chance are you wont even see where corpses are, the same applys to different maps - for example the fields where you cant see anything

there also isnt much differentiation between party skills and enemy skills -> which bercomes a problem when the party is big and using lots of flashy skills

Solution:
add an option to outline corpses or add some sort of effect for visibility on them for classes that have to individually click on them



In regards to Party play:
the more people the worse it gets – especially with aoe attacks, minions etc.
Another issue is Bosses – they get hit by so many effects that you often cant see them at all at some point aswell as the position of your allies

Solution:
- add some settings for players to adjust contrast between Boss and effects, or maybe some sort of outline option etc.
- another solution would be to tone down effects of party members but i think i wouldnt like that

Not a general problem?
I play a build that uses a lot of fire and yeah, the visual fatigue is real. I can't tell where anything is and hoped i could have an option to turn at least my own effects down or outline enemies. everything is ignited, fire is burning bright everywhere, enemies using skills too-- can't focus on anything and it's gonna get me killed at later maps
Same here, we are a party of 3 to 4 players. We hoped we could get something like Warframe has. You can crank down a number to get effects to get less visible. This is not a problem of any specific skill. Lightning Rods + Galvanizing shot will kill visibility. Any Ice spam, Fire. All elements basicly destroy the ability to identify the content that we are playing(against). We are still at cruelty. Not endgame yet.

Our tactics right now are:
- Going threw the maps: Ignore everything, apply the all clear, see nothing strategy and laught manicly.
- Bossfights. Tank/Debuffer, dance around the boss in hugging distance. Everything else pray and spray in the vague direction of the healthbar of the tank.

If you ask me how the game looks, I can tell you: Ice is white, fire is yellow and red and lightning is blue. We picked fire, it has more than one color. ^^

You made an amazing game for party play. Please let us see more of the game than just skill effects.

I would be very happy with a simple opacity slider until you find the time to get a better strategy.

I dont really get how this wasnt seen as an issue before - if you play with a full party its really almost impossible to see anything - especially at bosses.

They should at least options for outlines etc.
