Tempest Bell needs a nerf

The bell is giving so much boost to dmg, that u can literally just delete bosses in a few seconds.

GGG wanted this game to have meaningful fights - specially with bosses - and ppl who r using the bell will just miss most of the mechanics. If someone started with the bell and have second approach without that skill, then he will be shocked that bosses r actually doing something and r not insta dead.

Many times, I actually refrain myself from using the bell, to allow the boss to perform any action. Yes, im suffering from success. POE1 is soooo boring when u can just delete everything on the screen. Many times I cant even tell who i just killed cuz they r dying so fast.

I hope that POE2 will be different, cuz im already feeling that this game at the start was much harder than it is today.

Woooah, why expose an OP mechanic like that? Keep it a secret so people can at least have fun with their builds using the bell during christmas.
It's a squishy melee char... i am not playing monk but i guess if they take away his most shiniest toy, it becomes a sucky class. better give feedback to what you play and suggest a buff than point your finger at other classes that you don't play...

€: oh you wrote you rafrain yourself from using it, well hmm i guess that's first hand experience then xd

While there's obviously an intended limit to just how fast they expect people to clear and kill bosses, my 2hander slam right now feels extremely good for one reason only: Once I break armor and heavy stun, I am a fucking train. Once they're stuck on the tracks, I empower Hammer of the Gods and Supercharged Slam at max stages and that's 50-80% of any given boss's health as they get slammed by 2000 tons of freight. It feels amazing because I have to set the enemy up to that absolute nuke of a hit. It's exactly what I want out of a slow, heavy hitter. It's only going to get better when they fix Rolling Slam's aftershocks doing zero damage.

They need to be careful how they nerf and only nerf clearly over performing builds (especially if they are wiping the floor with self found, non-traded "GG EZ" gear that'd turn even your basic attack into 12k DPS at tier 1 maps). If your bell feels that good, but you have to earn that bell and play around that bell, then I doubt it needs much nerfing if any, not like the (potentially over) nerfed trigger builds that were filling the screen with Comets by face rolling the keyboard.
Come on man, it's the only thing that keeps my Monk playable right now. Nerfs are not what this game needs. Sounds like you're just trying to ruin other peoples' fun.

The bell does help with bosses a lot, but you are disadvantaged in area clear.

I love Falling Thunder, but to set that up takes so long, having the bell for bosses compensates.

If u would play monk, then u would know that there is not much difference about other skills, cuz bell will do most of the work.

And monk do not need any buffs, cuz he can kill bosses without bell. Its not going to take few seconds, but i think that was a point of creating this game.

About being squishy - monk have access to skills that giving him a way out of many deadly encounters, specially against groups. This class actually do feels like u would play on easy mode in POE2.

I understand that for some combo u need to do some thinking and it takes time and thats fine, but with monk its basically - 4 attacks, hex, bell and boss is gone.

Its that easy.

Well, if this is 'fun' for u, then u must have some bad time in this game.

Bell is just braindead at this point and everyone who wants an easy content should use it. Its a definition of OP and it needs nerf.
