Xbox Menu Screens Cut Off - Unaffected by Safe Area Adjustment

Playing on Xbox (Series X). I was able to adjust the safe area via the options menu to properly adjust the game window to fit my TV screen, but the changes did not carry over to any of the menu screens. It's frustrating because I cannot read any tooltips on the menus, they are all cut off/outside of the viewable screen area.
