Regarding Ascending in Poe 2

So first off id like to say that i like the fact that the game itself is difficult and challenging in Poe 2. Bossfights actually feel like bossfights and not like Poe1 where the real bosses are the raremonsters with the right mods.

The game is in beta right now and as such there are alot of bugs, quite understandable, i know the team is working on things like the other classes being released and the other acts so im not even expecting most of the bugs to be fixed. Thats totally fine.

Theres a few minor things i dont like, for example not being able to resocket your gear to mention one of few.

But as the title says this is my biggest issue and concern about poe2.

I would really like to know why you would gate something so vital to a character in both its character power and in its functionality in building the character like ascendancy behind content that only belongs to an extreme minority of players.

Right now, the difficulty of the trials are by an astronomical amount more difficult than running t15 waygates it is not even remotely close.

GGG please, this is just incredibly silly you cannot gate build dependent character power behind that kind of content.

If you intended the trials to be endgame content with endgame rewards then dont for the love of god gate ascendancies behind it.

Pick one or the other rather than trying to force both into the same thing because otherwise all you will have is unhappy players that dont enjoy the game.

I would be extremely curious to see how many % of the playerbase has completed a 4floor run solo or killed the trialmaster solo. Im willing to bet its less than 10% if not less than 5% and that is also the same amount of players that has their ascendancies and that is nothing but silly.
