Warrior is too slow
Hi all! TL;DR at the end.
113 hours, playing only warrior, without following any guides/watching any youtube videos on warrior - Just having fun, exploring things on my own, stopping to even take a look at tiny details in the maps - Beautiful! - And here's where I've ended up. Lvl 83, farming T11-T12 maps (when random chaos bs doesn't kill me) ![]() Feedback: 1. The Titan is too slow. I understand you meant it to be like this - the effect of being slow but delivering massive slams. Well, that's cool, but you need to tune it up a little, at least by .3 or maybe even .5. Everything is super slow at the moment, even with a 25% Attack speed weapon and Martial Tempo support gem on the main skill. It is too slow, guys. So much so, that between slams, I even have enough time to remember how bad of a dad I am, for not playing with my kids, but instead slamming stuff with my Titan. Speed it up a little, please. 2. Build diversity - I've tried everything the Titan can be. There are two abilities I like best at the moment - Spamming Earthquakes with armor explosions & Leap Slam and using Resonating Shield in the meantime and you can guess where I ended up - Stampede armor explosions. Unless I missed something, these are the only two viable Titan builds for mapping at the moment. 3. Let's talk a little about those separately: -Earthquake - Too... meh.. for what it is.. Your mighty Titan slams the ground, causing an Earthquake and it's.. well, meh.. It needs more WoW effect. Guaranteed Aftershock maybe? Some additional effects, maybe causing volcanoes or something, I dunno, but it's too bland right now. -Resonating shield - If I'm using an ability that renders me almost immobile, I expect the defenses of it to be way, waaaaay higher, yet you can easily die from almost everything. If you've seen Secret Level, episode 5 - where the Marine used his f-ing shoulder to go through a moving vehicle, dismantling it - that's how OP I want to feel while using this ability. If the warrior remains so slow, then at least give it timed invulnerability for Resonating shield, so we can time & prevent all damage. -Stampede - Pretty cool, until it isn't. Forget about mapping in difficult terrain, let alone those maps full of trees. There are monsters in the way? Welp, nothing you can do about it. Stampede needs to go through enemies, knocking them down AND MOST IMPORTANTLY - FOLLOW THE PLAYER'S CURSOR for the pathing and the last slam! I want to hold my cursor on a boss/rare monster and have it 100% certain that it slams my target! Currently the pathing is way too weird. I've had hundreds of situations already where I even go in the opposite direction of a monster.. What? -Stampede in Trial of Chaos / Sekhemet - I had no idea how unpleasant of an experience I will have, didn't even think about it, but until Stampede gets a rework, I will definitely be using Earthquake for Trials. I kept running away from objectives/running into traps, bosses kept running away from my slam - and even in some cases (If I had to estimate it, I'd say around 10%), I would slam next to a monster, but it was behind me at an angle - there was no effect on it even, as if I didn't even use the ability. -Avatar of Fire - You've got abilities that act based on Physical damage, but when we use Avatar of Fire and all dmg is converted to Fire damage, said abilities don't do anything? (Example, I tried putting Corrupted blood in my warcry, while using Avatar of Fire - Warcry did not apply Corrupted blood to my enemies (not skeletons, don't worry, I didn't test this only in Tower, tried couple of places) You may wonder why I even tried that - well, it says Corrupted blood deals physical damage based on my Strength (559), I thought it would do significant damage maybe. TL;DR: 1. The warrior is slow and it needs action / attack speed increase by at least 30-50%. 2. More build diversity or people end up at Earthquake&Leap slam or Stampede. 3. Stampede is awesome, but needs a rework, so it passes through enemies and follows the player's cursor for the pathing (so you can theoretically run in a circle and slam on your starting location (in this case Momentum needs to be reworked how it works with Stampede, as you would have actually moved a distance more than 2 meters, just in a circle, so it still should give you the 40% more damage bonus)) P.S. Oh and last thing - Did you mean for Chaos resistance to be so build-breaking and expensive to build? I'm finding myself in a situation where I need to spend at least 200 EX to fix my build, to go from 48% chaos resistance to 75%+.. A bit of a stretch, just so I don't die from purple stuff... :/ Last edited by TheseViolentDelights#1049 on Dec 17, 2024, 11:41:36 AM Last bumped on Dec 17, 2024, 11:33:52 AM

what are you building that you need 200ex to get max chaos?
I spent less than 30 ex for my build, clearing t15s, and i have max chaos res... Also remind yourself this is EA and the market is hyper inflated. As more players make it to end game and start putting things in trade, the prices will go down. |

" Maybe I messed up, give me a few minutes and I'll post my gear. Edit: Right, here's my gear. I tried looking for updates to cap Chaos resistance... not an easy task, unless I farm a couple of days for exalts. ![]() And tree: ![]() I dunno, maybe it's my bad for taking those 5% reduced attack speed nodes and that's why I'm so slow. Will take any advice if that's the case. Last edited by TheseViolentDelights#1049 on Dec 17, 2024, 11:08:34 AM

Update: Made this change:
(Kind of sad, losing the accuracy and life leech, but hey, if it keeps me alive..) ![]() I got 77% chaos resistance now. I'm hoping at least now & after the patch that nerfs chaos in endgame, I'll be able to react, rather than get oneshot by chaos projectiles/bubbles.
