PoE2: Minion Stats Discepancy

Lets get straight into it.

The minions stats do not appear to reflect their actual parameters. The stats (as displayed) are either not calculated correctly, or are showing values that do not reflect their game-play.

An illustration of what I mean, taken from my own experience thus far:

I am a witch in mid Act 2.
"
• I have just over 400 HP and around 140 ES.
• My armour is just shy of 120.
• I have no evasion.
• My elemental RESes are all below 30%. My chaos RES is 0%.
• I have a 0% chance to block.

My skeleton knights with their supported skills meanwhile have:
"
• Nearly 900 HP, no ES.
• Armour 175.
• Just over 50 Evasion.
• Elemental RESes at 50%. Chaos RES is 0%.
• 33% chance to block.


The problem?
I will take a hit from a boss that will deplete most of my ES, but not breach into my HP. All things considered, this is a lesser attack from a boss. Yet this same attack will kill my skeleton knights in 1 to 2 hits.

This is not an issue with a single boss either. Though I had not paid enough attention until recently, the symptoms of these paper mache minions could be felt starting at the end of Act 1. Now that I've seen the stats of my minions however, I've gone from thinking my minions were not scaling well (falling off this fast is itself an issue, but not the one I'll report on today), to now thinking the game is either bugged when it comes to Enemy vs. Minion interactions, or that the stat spread for minions, at the very least the Skeleton Knights, are dishonest when compared to their performance.

In summary
My Skeleton Knights are literally more tanky than me in every way, yet die insanely fast to anything as tough as a Rare Enemy or tougher. Yet I can often stomach several hits from that same enemy before I'm about to fold. Stats suggest I should be the one dying in a hit or 2, but repeatedly I'm shown to be the most sturdy in my troop, and trust me, I'm still very squishy.

The solution
Normally if I'm going to bitch about something, I'd at least try to give an idea on how it could be fixed, hopefully without replacing one issue with another. In this case though, I'm kinda stumped, because I don't really know what the issue is?

Sure, I can say make minions scale better, but the heart of my problem is less that they suck, and more than the numbers suggest that they shouldn't. There is either some kind of programming fuckery afoot, or faulty display of their stats, because the numbers aren't making sense. And given some of the things I've seen reported on and addressed in PoE2 so far, I'd say this could be another one of those weird problems where not even the staff knows how it the numbers got so skewed.
