Heightened Curse costing Spirit with Blasphemy

Because of the curse tag Heightened Curse costs Spirit when used as a support gem in Blasphemy.

As other support gems do not cost additional spirit when supporting a curse in Blasphemy I guess this is unintended and only active curses should cost spirit.

If it is intended it's a kinda strange choice as it basically prevents using the main curse support gem with the main curse spirit gem without paying massively more spirit compared to other support gems

I have exaclty the same problem.

Nothing writen on the support gem.
Hope it could be fix soon.

So I just ran into this problem myself. Its been a few months and nothing has been addressed or changed. It would be really nice for this to get fixed or at least clarified on the support gem so people know there will be a cost. With the new season active and new builds popping up with the new class it would be nice to have a bit of clarity on if this is intended or not. If it is intended then update the support gem "Heightened Curse" and if its unintended then can we get a fix in place for this so I can use it in my build? I'm just short on spirit because of this interaction. Anything you can do GGG?

The Heighted Curse support gem appears to have been updated.

According to poe2db, it previously displayed "cost multiplier: 140%".
The gem now displays "cost & reservation multiplier: 140%".
