inventory/loot management

As a new PoE player im surprised this game doesnt have auto-loot and that im forced to make trips to camp/hideout to dismantle items for mats.
This has to be by far the most tedious and unfun part of the game and there are absolutely ways to do this better.

Suggestion(s):
Coming from lost ark, you auto-loot all loot thats on your screen. The inventory is much bigger but you also get a lot more loot.
BUT... The most important part is that you dont have to dismantle your items at an npc and instead theres a dismantle tool directly in your invetory and you can set it up to auto-dismantle everything except the items you want to keep. It works incredibly well IMO and saves a ton of tedious inventory work.
Game already has loot filter so you might as well make it work with auto-dismantle and auto-loot.

Next thing to save some running around and make crafting less tedious is to condense the 2 crafting stations + disenchanting into 1 interface and let us have stash tab open while using it.

Afterthoughts:
This wouldn't take away from GGG making money on extra stash tabs since it would only have impact on items you dont want to keep.
Also maybe there will be some issues in multiplayer with this? Im not sure tbh...
Maybe some quest items edge-cases etc... But i rather see all this changed to acommodate auto-loot than not have auto-pickup. Exceptions can be automatically added for quest or similar items easily.
Also i assume this is the whole reason why theres a limited amount of portals for maps but that whole mechanic seems like a pointless gimmick.

Cant wait to get called lazy by all the close minded PoE1 vets :)

GGG inventory was lame in PoE and nothing changed in PoE2

I propose:

1 slot
2 slots
6 slots

items, not more.

It would be nicer to see and easier for us to manage and optimize.

Reducing the amount of slots items take up would also be a welcome change.
But even thought its a less radical change it would actually eat into their profits from stash tabs.
Auto-loot and auto-dismantle wouldnt.

I've now spent a few hours into mapping and tbh, I rarely have to make traveltrip to empty my inventory during a map.

Maybe you are picking way to much useless items ?

I've personally written my loot filter to hide all white items and all magic items that I can't use (because of stats restrictions) or won't use (much weaker base that what I currently have).
I only pick interesting magic base, rare and uniques. Iding them and spending augment/regal on interesting ones. Augment orbs stock is not an issue, regal orb is (but that's why I pick all rare items).

Later on (and with magic find investment) you'll probably only pick up non-tier 1 magic items which even reduce what you have to bring back to stash.
Im an SSF so i pick up all yellows for regal shards. Also ALL basic currency except scrolls. And i probably have more things to craft at one time.
Either way this would save every1 some amount of tedious loot/inventory work so i dont really understand arguing against it this way.
Just because something is not completely unsufferable doesnt mean it couldnt be better.
Even if you only pick up items you need that still means you have to go out of your way to do it

Maybe but gigantic items in inventory are also dumb to see, it's too "indie" game and i think that PoE2 deserves to be treated like an AAA game.
