Increase light radius suffix

Makes no sense at all to have that as a stat in the game.

Light is not supported as muc, if at all in poe2. It has a athmospheric factor, but you can figure out something else or make a mtx for light.

Here me rework for increase light:

- light radius let you zoom more out
- light radius increases accuracy

Its useless in poe1 and now we take it over to poe2 :)

Remove it please and make that light/life/energy play somehow else or mtx it.

Makes me sick rolling that stat over and over again. I want darkness!

Make day-night-cycles and at night you wear nightgear ^^

The only good way to rework it is to throw it away.

It has no place in games that aren't Diablo 1.
I think I'd have less scruples with it if it at least gave an appreciable amount of extra light.

I understand the concept and on paper it sounds like a good idea, but in practice, having it as a game mechanic just sucks.

We live in an era where everybody has different platforms/specs and monitors/tvs to view it on. Stuff like being able to change the gamma is game dev 101 mandatory for UX.

I should not have to spec into being able to see the game I'm playing.

kinda off topic, gamma is not really related to this in the slightest, light is a mechanic they keep to have trash roll effects on gear, it has little if anything to do with being able to see.
delete the stat from the game. its dumb.
It's funny how people with zero idea about game design are trying to "fix" the game.

Light radius is a dead stat on purpose. You need some dead stats in the affix pool, so there can be shitty items in the game.

What is the next step? Removing other affixes you don't like so that every item drop is useful for something?

If the light radius in PoE 2 is actually doing nothing, then they need to fix/change it. But it has to stay as a "dead" stat.

"Dead stats" in the affix pool are called "low tier rolls". Always were.

You logic perfectly illustrates why PoE1 is so convoluted and overdesigned. Some people are apparently so alien that they consider this to be perfectly fine and are willing to defend it.

Dead stats are bs. Build preference should determine whether a stat is dead or not. I commonly rolled attack damage on my witch's rings. That could be a great stat for my merc, but it is doing nothing on my witch. That's fine. That should be a stat I want for one class but not another. Light radius is a troll. If there is a unique that lets you scale off it some leave it, otherwise lose it.

Not with the new tier system for rares.
Tier 5 rares have affixes of minimum T5.

You would have to increase the chance for low-tier affixes to get things balanced without dead stats. I think it's more interesting to roll high tier + dead affix than two mid affixes.
