Bloodmage's Sanguimancy Suggested Change

In its current form this is just a dead node, and even though it can be slightly fixed much much later on, the current form should be modified.

My suggestion is below

"

Sanguimancy
Grants skill: Life Remnants (modification to Life Remnants: blood globes move towards the player, slowly at first, speeding up until they are absorbed by the player)

Sanguimancy specialty
A thousand cuts
Skills which cost mana have their costs modified to instead cost 30% life and 70% mana.

The vein of life
Skills which cost mana have their costs modified to instead cost 60% life and 40% mana.



This still makes the node mandatory, but at least gives the player some agency and is an overall buff instead of a full on brick for players who just spec into blood mage.

Finally: if this change still ends up being completely meh in terms of balance, we could also consider adding some physical damage to skills based on the life cost.

Still waiting on any mentions on blood mages in the recent announcements!
I think if they just made the spells cost 50%L/50%M instead of 100%life+100%mana it would solve the problems... doubling the cost to cast spells is obscene.

Also, please adjust the Event Horizon node to allow for access to Spaghettification, they are chaos clusters that are unattainable for a bloodmage playing a chaos build.
I think the best change for Sanguimancy will be simply to give it the spell life leech, instead of the blobs pickup. And move the blobs in the place of the leech node. This will be a GREAT change. I really hope GGG makes this a thing.

The Diablo globules are pretty much the dead part of the node. Placing it into the tree separately is just going to add junk nobody uses.

In practice on fights like Jamenra you get to just watch them despawn in a cloud of turbo death, as you kys with the heath costs.
Hoping to see something on this terribad node to get fixed in 2025.
Hoping to see this changed in 0.2.0 so being bloodmage doens't mean being a meme for the first ascendency and being able to have the power of doing 2 ascendencies at once.
Why not just convert all mana to blood, like the name says it's boodmage!

Also change that curse node to "curses you cast can not be removed", that way it could actually be useful for hexblast users.

The downside to this is it makes the node useless for non spell casters taking the node. I'm playing a Bloodmage Bleed Snipe build, I don't want to spend my health to cast a skill and also NOT be able to overcharge my health or heal. With the globes I can generally stay above my max health value without potions, or at least at it with pickups after fights. Not having them would mean spamming my potions constantly or sitting around waiting for regens and vitality to heal me.
