Killed Babala in cruel, can not go to trial for 3rd ascendancy

I killed Babala in cruel, can not go to trial for 3rd ascendancy. The quest will not progress past "Search Traitor's Passage." I can teleport to the trial on the act 2 map, but it is the level 22 version and makes all of my tokens say they will not grant ascendancy points. When I am in traitors passage they say they will grant points though.

just ignore buggy quest and go clean some trash to drop trial key for 2nd level (usually from 42+ lvl mobs)
