Using the bump button on threads

Some of my threads have bump buttons, some do not. When I hover over the B icon on the ones that do, it shows the URL as https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/THREADNUMBERHERE#history=1
I tried changing the thread number to proc the bump on threads that don't have a button, not sure if this works or not. Can someone elaborate on the bump button and why some threads have it some dont? EDIT - As I am typing this, the button shows. Does anyone know what the timer is for this? " If trying to use a bump button on a trade thread these can only be bumped once per hour, using a bump button on a non-trade thread should be available once per 24 hours/once per day. Please note this feature is not available on threads older than six months old (from their create post, not the newest post in the thread). |

Ah this makes sense, some of my threads are very old and I guess they have had greater than a 6th month period from any action? Alot of the newer threads I've made seem to have the bump button available. I thought the default bump time was globally 24 hours, not an hour.
