After death and T17- like mechanincs in PoE 2 must go.

I understand you guys want your game to be hard, but you really need to take out those after death mob explosions. I just made it a habbit to kill rare then take a few steps back and wait, so i don't die to some BS stuff exploding. It's not hard it's just annoying and have no place being in PoE 2. I understand why we need it in the first game and it's ok there. But PoE 2 being this slow and hard don't need mechanics like this at all to still be challenging and fun.
Drowning orbs also have no business being in this game. We are already slow enough, melee especially, we don't need an orb that will eat you action speed and then instakill you. It's not hard, it just forces you to not play melee on maps with this mob type.

After death explosions are obnoxious and exponentially worse for melee, and the drowning orbs should NOT be instant death mechanics. Just make them deal damage per second while you're in them, or something!

A lot of things need to change fast if they don't want this game to die super quick.
I agree, just died to one because of how rare mobs have a death animation now in maps so it overlaps, feels so cheesy and very frustrating. Also mobs that have abilities with ground effects (like the one purple ability coming from the ground) got killed by one because my character was behind terrain and couldn’t see the ground so I died instantly, Wouldn’t be problem if I could see it.
