Campaign needs to reward more passive points

Currently being at the end of Act 3 I feel like points from just leveling and +2 per Act are not enough with difficulties we face and balancing between damage and defense for both to feel effective enough.

Being currently on Minions build I struggle to find a gap in leveling where I felt comfortable to finally invest some points into my own defense and have minions still keep up with ongoing campaign in terms of survivability and damage. Act 3 halfway through and only 1 point went into that defense so far. I really miss getting more points and being able to plan out build without having pressure to invest constantly in same thing from the very start in order to make it effective.

Might be just me, being used to having many more points in PoE 1 and being able to faceroll through first 2 acts on mostly attribute stats only, to spread out to far away important nodes and then start investing, but looking at the whole new tree structure and nodes I really do feel like we need more passive points during campaign. Cosidering also the fact that gear doesn't come as easily.

So far I am not a fan of current passive tree and amount of points we are rewarded. I do like a lot the items that add to our certain stats but I think I think I would rather trade most of them for the points. (maybe not the spirit ones :))

Also why Spirit cannot have its own nodes at tree? I have been extremely unlucky with the armor finds and roll, including scepter itself.

I personally do not see the current tree in the endgame.
