Warbringer's Bellow and Sacrifice

I'm playing a Blood Witch build that relies on the following mechanics:

- Sacrifice, which states, "Skills can use your undead Reviving Minions in place of Corpses"
- Detonate Dead, "Causes a Corpse to violently explode..."
- Skeletal Brute

I'm enjoying it, and as far as mechanics go it's relatively straightforward, which is good because I'm not that smart.

I noticed that Faridun Plaguebringers are able to target and blow up my Skeletal Brutes. I assumed this was a considered drawback and weakness of the build! Most builds, after all, have some mobs that are hard counters, and this turns into an amusing race to see who can blow up my minions first. Fine.

My friend is playing a Warbringer and picked up the ascendancy node, "Warbringer's Bellow". Now when they use a Warcry all my Skeletal Brutes instantly die. There is no way to support Warcry skills with Corpse Conservation, and the nodes providing 25% conservation on the tree are quite far from Warbringer start.

The skill interactions here prevent my friend and I from playing together. We haven't checked if this can be abused by adding on-death explosions to the minions, and honestly that would be a pretty boring mechanic if it worked given the revive interval.

Was this interaction between players intended? Are we just going to have to play different characters when we want to play together? Can Corpses be assigned to an owner that prevents other players from messing with them, even if enemies retain the ability?

Edit: grammar.
