Any way to upgrade the game version I got without buying the whole game?

You have to pay the full price for the supporter packs, because you haven't paid anything yet. Like was mentioned above, there are no different game versions for PoE 2, its just supporter packs.

Being given a key just gives you access to EA, it didn't give you the 300 points that someone who bought EA access would have gotten.

Because by buying support pack you get coins and cosmetics. Early access is just a bonus, so if you got it for free, you cannot upgrade.
