Merc cannot shoot xbow after death by boss

This has now happened for the second time and I have no idea what fixed it the first time. After dying to a boss (in this case the Act 2 last boss) when I res i can no longer fire my cross bow. Grenade skills work fine but left clicking to fire any bow shot just doesn't respond.

I've tried unequipping by gear, removing my skill gems and redoing them, dying to other mobs, zone resets, dodge rolling, switching weapon sets, etc. Still can't shoot. If I equip another weapon like a staff, that can left click fire, but xbow - nope. This happened before with the boss in the Titan Grotto but somehow after 20 mins of trying it started working again. This latest time, it's been 3 hours. Other characters on my account are fine.

I'm baffled. Character name is XilrensTwin, lvl 34 Witch hunter.

Just a quick update- 2 days later and still can't shoot my xbow.
Have tried various solutions on each day.
So my lvl 34 Character is broken until this can be resolved, so I made a new merc and of course it works...for now.
