Before you nerf based on crying feedback....

Be wary of nerfing it into an expected progression sequence that becomes a snooze fest because the nerfs you make to tier 1 maps and the gear upgrades you get along the way basically make the entire progress system moot and zero challenge where you sleep walk through it.

There should be an element of near-death experiences that keep it interesting so you aren't asleep at the wheel, and yes, that means frustration if you don't change up what you are doing or how you are playing.

Yes, the difference between Campaign in to Maps is steep, and if you remember your first time playing PoE1 which many of you probably cannot remember, it was the same.

For some of you complaining, you are simply too used to knowing whats needed to be done to make the incoming content zero challenge from the thousands of hours you spent on PoE1. I expect builds and gear to offset this transition over time, but until people learn that, there will be people whining, too hard.

Its week 1, you shouldn't be in tier 10+ maps by now just because you spent 4000+ hours in PoE1.

Lets give it a month or so shall before dirt napping it?

Personally I feel the gear stats are too high. At the very least offense. We got people running around with +10 to skills which is just insane to me. Where's the room for future power creep.

It's like they just started off from the 10 yrs of power creep PoE1 accumulated.

You do realise people who spent 4000+hrs in PoE1 are already in t14+? Challenge is not problem in game I personally love it.

It is nice change of pace. Problem is constant challenge, unfair mechanics(off screen on death mechanics that are not clearly visable). Problem is low reward for big punishment. Problem is they took most tedious content of PoE1(sanctum and ultimatum) and made it manadtory.
You know there is no chance that there will not be a zerg build in game(already there are few)? So you know what you do with this type of punishing progress? You rob people of experimentation with builds and just let them copy paste streamer builds.
And you think this is good for game? Yes I have over 100hrs since launch and know abit what I am talking about. I am not looking for reduction in challenge I am looking for fairness and balance between reward and punishemnt cause atm there is big drawn on punishment side.

Not to talk more about crafting which they said before launch "we encourage ppl to craft". Craft what? Slam exalts and hope for best? That is not crafting that is gambling. And before you say anything I know there are omens that help with some "deterministic" crafting but you know what percentage of playerbase at this state game is in now will experience it? Hint:not high. They need to rethink their approach to game in next weeks and see if they want to keep players coming back to their game or stay same with gatekeepers and us(yes I am one of those) addicts that just love being punished.

Yeah good point.

I forgot all about the + to skills gear.

My dude, people are already 1 tapping entire screens and blasting bosses in 5-20 seconds.

People are mostly complaining about Trials, balance, bugs and how god awful the mapping system is. I've yet to see anyone who is crying about how they can't progress into T10 maps because they played POE1 before.

This is what they started with and have always stated, the rest will come. More acts, more classes, more later.

If you've died from off screen mechs, you are clearly trying to kite it off screen and cheese it. The visual is in seeing what the NPC is doing to react to it, if you are purposely putting it off screen, you are at playing at a disadvantage on your own making.

It's not about the difficulty or the nerfs - the issue is much simpler than that. The problem is that it’s simply not fun, it’s exhausting and frustrating instead. Core-Systems of the game are poorly designed and feel really bad.

Can I ask how many hours you have put in to the game from release to date?
Oh yes I think the game is to easy. Items should have +0-5 of any stat
Movement speed should be limited to +10% same with damage from passives skills.
Oh you should have to do a Trial to get all Passives points. One per trial.

+1, the core systems were gutted and we are left with a boring and stale diablo 4 like skeleton. Every class seems to have predetermined routes and builds that are what is acceptable to the developers or how they think they classes need to be played. This is at odds with how the systems were set up previously which allowed for player choice and agency.
