Give Monk more survivalbility


It's completely stupid, even if you have good resistances, a good shield and good HP you're dead all the time.

I didn't care about the campaign or other stuff but in MAPS its fucking stupid.

Im absolutely not enjoying this character and Im done playing.... he's too squishy and GGG you will see when you check the deaths of monks.

I play monk myself once u get 60% evasion everything is fine in maps.

after i got my 3rd Acendancy points i specced out of dmg an run the 40% less evasion node but evasion also gives phys mitigation + the crit penetration node and everything is fine.



Currently running t8/9 maps and i maybe died 5 times during my 60+ maps
Lol the "Protect me from harm" ascendancy is tank central, people need to start speccing into defence nodes instead of damage. I have roughly 79% evade and 68% armour....

Yes damage is not everything, but i have to note that early Campaign was rough but mainly on bosses but it go better and better in "act 4" i was way more stable with ~ 50/60% evasion
I agree campaign was a ball ache as lightning, but when I switched to a freeze build the campaign was cruise control

I agree monk is squishy and hard to survive with, but I don't get what you want to be given.
By design it's a mobile DPS class, but you know you can just add tankiness yourself right?
Yes Ice Strike + Bell was so strong in Campaign. Freeze is such a good extra layer of defence
My friend has a really strong monk build and survives a lot while having good damage. He has cold status effects and evasion and energy shield for defenses along with the Ghost Dance spirit gem for survivability. You could also add the spirit gem Wind Dancer to that for even more evasion if you really wanted. Monk does have the options to get tougher so no worries.

The protect me from Harm talent is really really good. The ascendscy point before that gives a ton of spirit, which you can use for offense of defense aswell.

Atm I have 205 spirit and I run ghost shroud, wind danser, the frenzy One from ranger, the infusion One for more crit and herald of ice.

I have 56% evasion and 43% Armour, 1K Life and 900 Shield.
I'll try to get to 60% then.

I'll respecced to protect mir from harm before.
And Im using Ghost Dance too.

Im not max capped at resistances, but I think Level 2 Map Enemies shouldn't kill me instantly.

EDIT: Is Acrobatics a needed Talent? I specct in it midway and havn't seen that avoid many attacks
