Uniques feel very underwhelming so far.

This might be just me not getting the right uniques, but, when i played POE 1 and the Lootfilter made that LOVELY GONG sound that indicated you found a unique, that was a huge Dopamin kick, and in MOST cases, what you found was in one way or another pretty awesome.
Even the lowest uniques (Goldrim anyone?) had some big effect that made it very usable and exciting.

Now, of all the uniques i found so far in POE 2 there was maybe 1 that i looked at a little bit longer wondering if it has any active use to me. (Some belt that turned incoming damage into mana, which also doesnt seem to work, cause i get a sh*tload of damage and my manabar is never moving)

So. Am i just having bad luck with not having found ANY good unique yet, or are they just as bland as they seem to be?

I've had like 5 uniques and 1 of them is and interesting chest piece that has a 50% chance to not die from a killing hit but has minus fire resistance and the other stats are fairly normal, the rest are other class specific but can potentially add something unique to a unique build.

See where I'm coming from, "unique".

I'm a fan of power for a trade off, this is a really indepth game with actual skilled player mechanics now, so all to play for and enjoy imo!

For now I only got one useful unique and it's 50% recoup damage as mana belt and with MOM and another 20% recoup as mana on tree it's godly.

Everything else I found is totally unusable (even spirit armour because of downside of intelligence and you can get better spirit chest rather quickly), especially with high requirements. They could be nice lvling gear but their lvl and stats requirements are too high.

Not sure what version of PoE1 you are refering to, most uniques have always been trash there as well.
