why this game is called poe 2

where's the core of the first one?
why i'm forced to play ruthless?

let me expalain:

a sequel MUST retain certain mechanics that make me fall in love with the franchaise and we have none.

why im FORCED to walk at snail speed in ginormous maps?
is this the vision?
probably yes. we do not receive well ruthless, so here we are. the similarities are too obvious to be denied. no crafting bench, no movement skill, gambling crafing and so on.

alteration is a problem apparently: ok let me store 1k bases and slam currency at it instead of having 1k alteration and spamming a single base.

we had a good crafting system that can be reused from the "early" poe 1 days: basic craft can be done done just from the start and if you want better ones you'll have to level respective master with quest, encounters or daily quest ( daily quest are outdated ok, but that was a really good system)

i feel quite baited by the name of the game; is like i start the new tekken 8 and a moba comes out.... can be a great moba, fine, but is not the fighting game i expect.

can we take elden ring as example?
of course! is not called dark souls 4, even if it similar is not the same.
so a new name is necessary. if they call it dark souls 4 you expect a certain level design a certain progress speed and all the features that made the franchise famous.

i'm not complain about difficoulty cause this game is not even difficult, is just tedious; bosses can be, for the majority of them, trivialized by walking around in cirlce like we did in dark souls 2 no even dodge rolling once.

BUT, if you miss a side area that is in the opposite corner, well, have fun for the 10 next minutes of walking.

poe 1 has 3 major factor that made it fantastic in my opinion: speed, movement speed not necessarely clear speed, crafting and fully customizable characters.

in this chapter we have none of this. walking, random rare and a less impactful skills tree.

if a franchise make a sequel must retain certain things. if this game was called pinko panko online i will completely fine. great game and stuff, but is called poe 2 and this game have quite nothing of what makes me love poe.
