Poison is not in a good state
I think Poison need more Love from GGG
The idear is somewhat okay. U Have to choose, Fast hitting attacks to stack poison ( Bowskills, Tree with +1 to poison stack ) Or u have to Hard hit and apply 1 Poison. But my problem is the Version, where u only got 1 hit and must scale this hit. 1. U need very high Physical ( Early game Poison is no option with this version) 2. U need most effectivly a big hit with a crit 3. u need to break armour of the enemy, to scale a bigger Phys hit 4. u need Shock to higher the output of your crit, because enemys that are shocked take more ( double i think ) damage, that can scale the poison. 5. And than this hit must Poison / so 100% is needed. 60% support gem, 5 notables in the passive tree. the Rune from Ultimatum ( 10% Poison chance on hit ) cant be used, because u need 2 Physical runes. With all these needs, its nearly impossible to get a viable Meeleskill to work as a poison version . For example - Cold got the highest crit chance, i think - So i use Glacial Cascade. - Critical hits can always poison on Helmet ( unique ) means, no poison chance needed, if u crit. So u are forced into take every power charge and Crit chance note u get. And that are a lot. - Than u must break armor - There is a skill gem, corossion - But can i put it on Glacial cascade? - that means less Phys max dmg. so i need a second source of armour break? maybe. So i take ice Strike that freezes enemys, pushing my damage and crit chance against them, and start the Corossion. Or vise versa . - Than, when un invested 50 Skill points only for Max power charges and Crit Chance, u need also shock chance... another 10 Skill points to get to these notes. Just for another 100% effect chance. not that u always Shock btw. - And when everything is working, and you poison with every hit, the poison just onyl do so much damage, that the hit on bosses do 30% of their max damage and the poison is still not notable and only stay for 2 seconds. Maybe 3 Seconds when u skill some posion duration. Yeah i know, why should we play poison with meele or something like that. But its poe, we want to experiment. But without one of the Bow or Crossbowskills u cant play poison atm. Its just better to use the 50 Skill points, that needed to get this to work, to play only 1 Version of Monk, and thats hybrid crit , all max elemental damage. So please consider some option Give us higher Magnitude in the skilltree, when u only use 1 Poison Poison must scale better of Phys/chaoshit. or a supportgem, that does this. something like - "20% of ur Physical hit also apply to ur posion build up, when using this skill" so u can directly scale the Phys to poison damage.
