poe2filter.com - A PoE 2 custom loot filter generation website
" Would it be possible to send me your .filter file, or link me to its contents, and take a screenshot or copy/paste of the item you expect to see? " Higher iLevel items *can* drop with better mods, but still the chance of these higher tier mods appearing is extremely small! Hi!
Absolutely love the filter! Been using it for a long time. However, I've ran into an issue. I don't know whether it is I who's dumb and missed something, or the filter just doesn't work properly. I want to hide all the weapons and armours that are not elite gear tier and have specific mod tiers or higher. So I set it up like this: ![]() However, it doesn't work. It still shows all the elite gear tier rare items disregarding mod tier that I specified: ![]() I don't have any custom rules for gear. So I don't know what to do to fix this. |

" So that would hide all items of rarity Normal & Magic; AND it hides all items with a gear tier of Expert and lower. It doesn't explicitly hide *Rare* items of Elite tier. If you also want that, except for the ones defined by the Unidentified Item Exceptions and other Exceptions, then just change the 'Hide Gear by Rarity' to <= Rare. Or, using the presets, this is what the 'Hide all non-Unique, Regular Gear not for your Character' checkbox in the End-Game Content options would do. Skill gem & Waystone rework - v0.9.123 - 21/09/2025
- Removed the 'Dynamic Filters' section. This was no longer necessary since recent updates to PoE2 automatically filter out lower-Tier Waystones and lower-Level Uncut Gems. Instead, replaced this by the following: - Added 'Hide Uncut Gems' filters under the 'Hide Currency' section, where you can optionally specify up until which Level of Uncut Skill, Spirit and Support Gems you want to hide. - Additionally, Uncut Gems are now treated, valued and tiered like any other Currency. - Added Waystone Highlights under the 'Highlight Other Items' section where you can highlight Rare, Delirium and Other Waystones. This finally allows you to easily change the cosmetic style of Waystones entirely, if you want to. - The 'Hide Runes' filter was removed for the same reason. - Removed the 'Leveling' rule where in the first 3 zones *all* armour was shown, as this was a bit of an obscure feature, and could be confusing. - Flask Leveling Filters are now a bit more strict in early zones. - The presets will now show salvageable Quality items for a bit longer. - The tool already used the correct Magic, Rare and Unique colors in-game, but now it also uses the correct colors in the tool itself (instead of the PoE1 colors). - Currency and Unique values are now calculated in a smarter way. If less than 200 items were sold during the past 6 hour interval, previous values are also taken into account, weighted by amount of items sold. - Economy update. ![]() Author of https://poe2filter.com and https://poe1filter.com - Path of Exile 1 & 2 Custom Filter Generators

Hi, I have a problem with the scrolls of wisdom:
Can't show them, anything i try, it's not working: |
![]() |
They would still get hidden by their low value. You'd still have to drag them into the 'Visible' tier on the Currency Tier List page. I know it's not intuitive, sorry about that, I'll look for a fix in the next version!

Item Level Crafting Bases - v0.9.124 - 26/09/2025
- Aside from Exceptional gear, high Item Level Normal equipment are also good candidates to start crafting from, and can hence be potentially valuable. We've added Item Level-based highlights alongside the Exceptional gear highlights, and renamed the section to 'Highlight Crafting Bases'. - Since the introduction of Greater and Perfect basic currency, regular Orbs of Augmentation and Orbs of Transmutation drop less frequently and are still useful, for instance to upgrade Strongboxes and unjuiced Waystones. We've removed them from the 'Hide Currency' filter. They still get hidden by their low value on the 'Market, Late-game' Tiering Mode (thanks Aya). - The checkboxes to toggle sections on the Preview tab now get saved, and a 'Toggle All' checkbox was added (thanks mcswayer). - Exceptional Gear Highlights were added to the Preview tab. - The Tab headers now remain visible when you scroll down so it's easier to navigate between tabs. You can disable this in the settings (thanks mcswayer). - (Accidently) dragging and dropping selected text into any tier column will no longer cause an error (thanks Icekronik). - Fixed an issue with the style of the 'Apply Filter Sections' dialog. - Fixed a bug where applying a section to another filter did not properly exit the copy mode (thanks mcswayer). - Fixed some issues with hiding items through their style dialog on the Quick Filters (thanks mcswayer). - Uncut Gems are no longer treated differently from other currency. This means the 'Use different minimap icon' functionality was removed. You can still create a Partial Custom Cosmetic Rule though (thanks Krydax). - Promoted Twin Bow to Expert tier. - Economy update. We are aware that the Quick Filters are getting more and more complex, and several users have reported that especially the 'Gear Exceptions' and their highlights are confusing. In an upcoming update we'll be doing a large overhaul of the Quick Filters to try to make this more intuitive again. We hope to also redesign the Jewellery filters, exceptions and highlights, using the same system as the Gear filters, and port the 'Leveling Gear' functionality over from PoE1 Filter. Stay tuned! ![]() Author of https://poe2filter.com and https://poe1filter.com - Path of Exile 1 & 2 Custom Filter Generators Last edited by BlackDeathBE#0559 on Sep 28, 2025, 4:57:16 PM

any design set 'cosmetic', should never be overwritten by anything defaulting later in the filter.
at least make a fair warning that anything set up under cosmetic may have no effect at all. it's a frustrating design. you have options set up, and then they ain't even have any effect. (whats the pooint having it here) or a new version comes out overrule it without notice or options to not have set cosmetic tap's overwritten. cosmetic tabs entrys should be not overwritten edit: suggestion: make all forced style entries have a 'continue' tag and pose them before any entries a user can generate with the cosmetic tab, so that user made entries in cosmetic tab, overwrite all given style entries. right now its the opposite! filter generation seems to be irrational with the sites design offered to the user Last edited by MorwoPoE#3287 on Sep 28, 2025, 3:51:03 PM

Hmm, custom (cosmetic) rules should indeed always take precedence, unless of course 'partial' cosmetic rules. What happened?
