Feedback: Jamanra is just a bad fight

I think some bosses are close to being nice bosses but just go a little over the board. Jamara's design I would say is MOSTLY good. But once the portals appear and missiles start filling a thick line covering the whole screen is probably just too much.

I would say the same about the Titan. A fight that IS awesome AND forces you to learn something. But that should probably get its last half removed because the little 'guard' thingies just make it a lot more annoying. Unnecessarily so.
Not saying that Manra has no issues but I have beat him countless times and it gets easier every time I approach him due to understanding him more.

You mentioned that the telegraphs are bad which I don't agree his overhead slash and pyke slash are easy to read in p2. They are a bit tricky to figure out on how to properly handle both of them but overall they are easy to see coming if there isn't to much clutter going on. E.g. 2 tornados in front of him covering his model.

P1 has a few issues when it comes to telegraphs. Like his spear throw and lightning attack in close range are hard to differentiate due to the dark backgrounds.

I still think this boss is over tuned though. If you know what you are doing you should be able to kill him in a few tries max. But if you are not you are very screwed. In the beginning of the League I needed 12 minutes to beat him on my first huntress with mediocre dmg. After play testing the campaign changes again with the exact same skills but with a more optimized passive tree i needed 5 minutes. My gear wasn't even that great but it took a lot less time. P2 is still annoying af as melee.

There are situations where you get almost no time to do dmg without having to tank a lot of stuff. If you combine it with someone who just started out and has a very mediocre dmg output his hp pool is way to high.
People who run optimized builds (not broken builds) should be able to beat him in 2-3 minutes while people without insane dmg should be able to do in in 5-6 10+ minute boss fights you still need to learn are to much.

This reminds me of my old wow times progressing hc raids in a top 5 guild on my realm endlessly grinding bosses with super easy first phases for 5 minutes only to then wipe 20 seconds into phase 2 or 3 time and time again.

Frustrating as hell.

I had the same frustration trying to beat Radagon and Elden beast on my first Elden Ring play through with a weapon which did 50% holy dmg (Elden beast is immune to holy dmg and i didn't know at that time). Only difference was Radagon was the hard phase and Elden beast just super tedious with super low dmg.

This boss in my opinion only needs a few minor changes to not be so frustrating to newer or not as good players. A lot of things currently are still over tuned so you feel forced to go an op build or you will have a super bad time.

Point #3 - stop with the constant attacks. This was an issue in the Geneor fight as well, using mob adds in what *should* be a lull in the combat. It's OK to have a break, a breather, and chance to channel a skill or back off a fight and reset. Elden Ring, Armored Core, etc, all allow a quick backoff of a boss, a chance to heal, to reset if your roll timing is off and you can't get in the groove.
But the Phase 1 Jamanra right doesn't. He attacks constantly at EVERY range - there's no way to just back off and take a breath - and during what should be a chance to get some free damage, his sand storm attack, mob adds just swarm you - which is actually harder to deal with than when he's alone for a lot of classes in such a tight space.

Phase 1 is virtually nothing but constant dps uptime on jamara.

Man i freaking love the fight, my second favourite after count geonor. You can do him easily with any build that makes minimum sense. I beat him multiple times on SSF with many builds, as did many other players. Love it and hope they make him even harder to filter the bad players and builds
