Melee target snapping
The cursor snapping to the nearest target when playing melee feels awful currently, I wish there was a way to disable it completely; if you do end up adding this, please don't make it so that I have to hold a button for it. Make it a toggleable option, either by skill or general. I should be able to attack in the direction of my cursor at all time, without having the snapping making me attack in a direction almost opposite (because I'm surrounded by monsters or because the monster is very large) the one I'm trying to attack in.
This is very annoying when you're using a skill like Falling Thunder because it hits in a cone, and if an enemy gets close to you but at an angle from the rest of the monsters, then it'll snap to that monster and hit away from all the other ones. Same issue with the Bell skill (which I love, it's very fun to use), I often end up attacking a nearby monster which is away from the bell when I'm trying to hit the bell, because the attack targeting is snapping to that monster so I don't hit the bell. This is especially frustrating on bosses with very large models, like Tor Gul or Zalmarath the Colossus in Act 2. Last bumped on Dec 15, 2024, 8:47:37 PM

Yes please update the ability to manually target instead of using target assist or whatever you guys have called this targeting that's forced on mouse users

Bell does this as well. i think it has to do with the cast while moving stuff. char is turned the other way but mouse is on the other side of him. and it places it in front of char instead of reticle
