Voltaic Mark doesn't proc nova when using a staff

While it does have the "Attack" tag, I can still use the mark while using a staff. The nova does not proc if I kill an enemy with the mark with a spell, but if I have a bow equipped the nova DOES proc.

are you applying the mark with 1 weapon and then killing with the other?
this is probably the bug you are encountering as i have not had issues procing voltaic mark nova if it is not with a weapon swap |
