Low life builds: How do you survive chaos damage?

I'm looking to get some Righteous Fire going, and since I run a low-life build I haven't gotten any health nodes (got energy shield instead). However, chaos damage wrecks me, and I can't afford a Shavronne's, and there's no other alternative to take it on the energy shield. I've tried resistance - unfortunately, low life build - it doesn't do much.

My net worth, including gear, is maaaaybe 3 exalts, so outright buying the solution is not viable.

im pretty sure your only suppose to go low life build when you have a shavronnes waiting.

I don't have a shavronne's. I don't do indoor maps and I am very careful. I am saving for a shavronne's, but you have to accept that you are going to die lots since you aren't immune.

Just get massive amounts of health, so that 'low life' is 2.5-3k hp. Either that or cap chaos res.

For low life (35% or less of life) to be 2.5-3k HP you'd need a Koam's

Not exactly an improvement on needing a Shavronne's

I will build a low life character at some point, but Shavronne is ESSENTIALLY a necessity.

Sure, you can do without, but you will die and it will be kind of silly.

Better off making an easier to build character first and farming with that, and feeding your farm to your RF character (this is what I'm doing -- I am just saving up.)


As far as I know, for a decently survivable permanent RF character, the following are needed (you might not need all this if you are a sporker and do not keep RF up 24/7)
Shavronne
Dream Fragment ring
Chayula amulet

Without those already on hand, seems like a waste to begin.



basically it's just like D2 in a lot of ways. you can't just jump into certain builds, because they are too gear intensive.

Dream Fragments is 100% not needed. Waste of a ring slot.

Anyways the only way possible is to be super rich, and buy a shavronnes.

if you get 80% chaos res you can go around with 500-600 HP after Aura reservation without being afraid of chaos dmg they will literally tickle you xD
