Poe 2 Latency issues

Hi,

I have big troubles with latency issues in poe 2. It was fine on release day and until sunday, but after that the problem has gone crazy. Whenever I enter a new zone, and at random intervals during a zone the latency spikes up to 7-10.000 and sometimes even higher (i've seen up to 80.000).
I have 750 Mbps wifi, a high end pc and I have tried using a vpn but that doesn't seem to help.

Do any of you have an idea on how to fix it, or even just alleviate the problem a bit? Like some settings that need to change, using the vpn wrong etc. I really wanna keep playing the game, but it's getting hard and frustrating when the latency goes that crazy. Boss fights are impossible because of it.

As a note, I also had this problem in poe 1 (and I know many others did too).

I am having the exact same issue (fast internet, great PC, and no issues in any other game etc on the PC). The game has played smoothly all launch weekend/ for most of this week, then in the last 24 hours or so, I am getting massive lag spikes every 20-30 seconds.

I have even tried playing the game on Geforce Now (Ultimate) to see if that improved the situation for me, I experience the same lag issues there! Considering this doesn't use my PC at all and I have fast internet, I can only assume its an issue caused by a recent patch. Hopefully they sort it soon.

I never experienced this issue in PoE1, but to be fair I haven't played that in a few months.

I have the same problem but it only started happening around an hour ago for me (after near 40 hours of gameplay)...

Just started experience massive lag today as well. Hope is fixed soon.
