I'm glad to hear a lot of you guys are enjoying the game, but this review really nails it imo.

It is way too hard in the beginning. make the end game bosses hard and crazy as you want. but not every mini boss throughout the campaign.

tons of people who never played poe1 are going to give poe2 a chance, and will be unable to make it past the first area in act1.
It will result in many ragequits, and 1 star reviews.

on top of that, there are a ton of people who didn't like poe1 because it was too hard / complicated.
They will meet the same fate here. They will not be able to get past the first part and will ragequit / 1 star review.

The game goes from slow / boring monster kills throughout the dungeon, and then quickly transforms straight into Dark Souls when you get to a boss.
I personally HATE dark souls. it's not fun to me. yeah I can keep dying 100 times and perfecting 100% exact movements until I can kill the boss, but that is miserable. I am playing a game to have fun. I'm not trying to accomplish a life goal.

so yeah,
tl;dr: i'm glad the small niche of you guys are having fun right now, but when the public actually plays this game it is going to result in massive review bombs like diablo 4 got.
