Rathbreaker Hyena Spawn

Is it normal that the Hyena's infinitely spawn during the fight???

The arena platform is already so small and with all the other archers its a pain to do this, also he doesn't wanna come down to the bigger part of the arena, if that would be the case, then kiting would be a lot more doable.
