A plee to tone down the nudity

The OP sounds like Ned Flanders to me.
There's nothing wrong with being nude. Claiming there is a problem with such a thing makes you demeaning, not me who portraits a nude person. The game is even ranked M.

Feminists should claim ability to be portrayed nude, not ridiculous protective censorship of their bodies. The whole idea is to empower the female gender, not to claim that it's incapable to showcase itself openly.

Lastly, for genre relevance... Gore and dark fantasy has a tendency to lean towards blood and nudity. These are things that interest the clique of reception in this genre. Attempting to circumvent these concepts when creating a dark mood is working against the premise of the setting: Dark fantasy has to be "entising" in the Christian tradition, to be dark, to feel slightly wrong, to look wrong, to portrait traditional satanic imagery, etc. And again, there's nothing wrong with that.

Anyone want to protect females? Spend your time on something other than dark fantasy censorship, spend your time on something relevant, ie court weighings that irrationally overprotects women, empower their women without need for institutional overcompensation. If you truly believe females are equal, spend some time fighting to have their extraordinary legal benefits removed, because honestly, they shouldn't need that. I think so myself because yes, I actually do respect women.

(Or, honestly, if you feel the demonic-nudity-Satanic-thingy premise of dark fantasy is wrong, quit this game or make a petition to change the genre and mood of the game, because dark fantasy heavily relies on Christian satanic imagery, which does include the cultural then-taboo of female entisement.)
So they really do exist - these outsiders that always have a say in games despite being completely unnecessary, but so politically and morally correct that no game studio dares to disagree, that women shouldn't be chained to globes of blood and mana.

OP, feminists and critics, I honestly respect your opinions I really do, but I beg you...
Let us have this one. Fight the system elsewhere, I want my exile to be just as it is. :(

I don't care about the nudity in games...what irritates me is the gender bias lol.

First of all, this game rocks, I mean really. Like many I came from "the other game" and was searching for that dark, Gothic arpg that would bring me back to the days of old :) This game has even in the beta (bought a key last week, got a 18 witch :)) has surpassed so many but I've noticed along the way that there is quite alot of shady lady stuff thrown in which is offensive to me. I mean you practically have two strippers holding up ur health orbs lol is that necessary? Also in act 2 there is a lady with no shirt just holding the end of her boobs? That's not even "realistic" at all. And I get the whole siren story thing, but how about a seaweed gown or something :/ I know I might be looked at as all kinds of different things for saying this but that's ok. I know many people do not share the same standards and that's their right :) I made this post because I know, unlike "the unmentionable game", this is a game where genuine concerns and suggestions are valued and considered. I know I'm not the only one who has been offended by this aspect of the game. Great job, with this game, it really is amazing but come future patches, releases I hope this issue will receive true consideration. Cheers!

To be offended is something that goes on in you. Hence its you who have to make changes. Jesus christ this "getting offended" attitude is really getting a hold of ppls understanding of social enviormnents. If ppl get offended its their own god damn problem. "Offended" is an internal and personal thing and cannot ever be helped by external change. Such problem solving leaves more problems since everybody has their own opinion about whats offensive and what not.
Fighting nudity is not a feminist practice where I come from. Better read a book than a tabloid headline about feminism.

Just sayin'. Cheers.
This signals the end of a post. I apologise to everyone who had to suffer through it.
I would imagine that if you are upset by the near-nudity of several of the female characters in this game that you would also be put off by the rather overt homosexual reference with Maligaro and his "assistant" who is referred to as "his lover". I did not appreciate homosexuality being made status quo in this game. It is, frankly, inappropriate to bring any kind of sexuality into a game that is made mass available to audiences of all ages and which does not have a clear age disclaimer (may be in the EULA but if a game is going to discuss sex and sexuality, it ought to have a disclaimer like pornographic websites have that if you are 18 or under, this content is not appropriate).

I realize that my views will probably draw a lot of flame, especially from homosexual players who may feel that I am somehow stomping on them. I am not. I realize that there are many addictions that a person can fall victim to. I am a recovering porn addict myself, so I sympathize with having a strong urge to commit an act of sexual perversion. Nevertheless, I am not advocating for the game to have lots of female nudity and sexual references. I would appreciate it if the game creators would do the same. This game is not at all about sex; it is about hacking and slashing the shuffling hordes of the undead. And...er...monkeys. Lots and lots of monkeys in Act 2.

At any rate, please consider removing this homosexual reference from the game as kids are being exposed to this and may erroneously be educated that sexual perverted lifestyles are consequence-free and acceptable.

Many thanks!

I have no words for this. Really. Actually i have a lot, that are not appropriate to say here. I wish you good luck in not judging others and deeming someone "perverse" and a "victim" because of a sexual preference.

The game is fine. The art is awesome. I love every aspect, especially the naked statues in Act 3. Statues made into art have historically been naked.

GGG hands down wins all the things in my book.
