Moment's Peace boon in Sanctum somehow got bypassed

Running Sanctum 3 floor trial. I got the "Moment's Peace" boon, and was running through the next room. I died from damage somehow, I didn't quite see what was happening.

I've got "Moment's Peace" boon right before the 4th floor boss, and somehow he killed me with spinning-Palpatine thunder attack

Just bought this boon from a merchant and got killed by the first trap in the next room.
I couldn't see it on the list of my boons after death so maybe it is getting removed too early somehow. Really annoying tbh I had such a good run. |

it's still happening. As a newbie i am pretty upset. after so many run and lose, this is my chance to beat 4th floor. damn, my 4th ascendancy point..
