Game Freezes When Using Alt-Tab

When I Alt-Tab to another window and then Alt-Tab back into the game, it will completely lock up for over a minute or longer. This forces me to restart the game and log in again.

I'm using the latest Windows 11 update, Vulkan, and Nvidia drivers.

I've been noticing the same thing.
Running on Windows 11, v24H2, Vulkan, nVidia.

When I alt-tab back, the game doesn't respond, so I alt-tab out, close other windows, then back, which returns things to normal.

It happens both when using Vulkan and DirectX12.

This happened to me recently as well. I tried relaunching the game, but it only turned into a black screen. It only loaded when I alt-tabbed. This bug didn't go away even after relaunching the game, so I had to restart my PC completely.

I'm writing this while I can't go back to PoE2 after alt-tabbing to check the forum.
The sounds continue, even the sounds of my in-game windows when I press their shortcuts, but the image is completely frozen. This time, unlike the others, even after insisting on alt-tabbing many times, the game continues frozen.

This happens since alpha.
Vulkan or DX12 don't seem to change anything.
Running on Windows 11, version 24H2.

PoE2 is in Windowed Fullscreen mode. Fullscreen or Windowed modes don't have this issue.
Changing back to fullscreen now that it resumed working.
