"You have no energy shield" affliction instantly kills CI characters in Sanctum.

Rolled a random affliction, got "You have no energy shield" as a CI character. Instantly set my honour to 0/2 (from 10k/11k) and ended my run. This is also an issue with characters doing weapon swaps which tanks their honour due to making max honor a dynamic stat that changes when your defences change within Sanctum.

Is there a single system that was thought through by now? 3 closed betas prior to this and over a decade of mechanics to look back to as reference.

Just encountered the same affliction just now and failed my trial. Definitely needs to be adjusted.

I just had this same issue. I will say fortunately I was low rolling and was forced into it.
