About the performance
Currently the game perform not so great? and the game can look blurry and stuttering when in town ... and the other thing is I thought y'all said that it will be playable on steam deck at 40fps stable? but I tried it and it dipped below 30fps so yeah... Just saying but I already know that y'all already trying to improve the performance but just want to give the feedback that's all :)

Just my personal experience:
On 5700X + RX6700XT, 32 GB 3200MT/s DDR4 @1440p 60FPS or 7800X3D + RX7900XTX, 32GB 6000 MT/s DDR5 @4K 60FPS, both using Locked Vsync, High settings and Vulkan Shaders without upscaling, the game will stutter or lag at times. The issue is most noticeable: - in town (act III > act II > act I) - any map that has stone (the roof top map level in act II is an exception) - anytime enemies use fire wall, the fire inferno attack, or leave patches of burning ground (the Chimera boss fight lagged when he used fire lol) - act II boss second phase, the fire portals are an instant FPS killer with just one, and he uses two... - will also just hiccup randomly on other maps, but of course the more enemies spewing attacks, the more the game will slow down (not always) Funny enough AMD Adrenaline reports average FPS as 60 so do not know if the lag really is due to GPU. |

yeah the game seems running fine but I start seeing some noticable performance drop when doing maps, if you kill the rare bosses in maps when they die those particle on death effect will drop your frame rate about 10-20 fps, Im using RTX 3060 12GB, 16GB RAM, m.2 SSD, and i5 13th gen... so I dont have a potato computer either. what I feel disapointed the most is that they lie about the playability on steam deck... it's not playable at all and the visual fidelity is terrible

Yep the issue is when killing rares, even on top end desktop with 9800X3D & 4080 Super, when killing rares I go from 150fps to 35-40 sometimes, and if there is burning ground also... oh boi.
They need to address the rare "explosion" |

I'm running an AMD ryzen 9 7800x3d with a Geforce 4080 super and after the last couple of patches the game is running real awful.
I go from 165 fps down to sub 60 fps in certain moments (while i run everything at low) During launch i ran everything at max and it was never dipping below 80fps anywhere. Towns are subpar fps (Act 2 Caravan being the worst) I've died countless times because of shaders compiling when I enter a map and there's a welcoming committee waiting for me or when i pop a breach, ritual or expidition. Idk why i'm compiling shaders 50 times over the same areas, rather frustrating. I've set my shadercache to 100gb to try to counteract this but not helping at all. Till last patch i was fine but weird things happen after that. Have good rig (7800x3d@6800XT@32GBRAM) but after patch my fps drops are more common. And weirdest thing about it is, it lagging a bit when ping start spiking. Graphs showing 20-30ms ping, but when ping is still all is ok but it is not mostly, going around 20-30ms and then i start a lag a bit.. Everywhere.

Its not promoting btw, im not a streamer, but I've just created a test stream for checking PoE2 performance on Steam Deck.
I've managed to make it look good and have stable 30 FPS. It could handle around 40-50, but I hate fps drops, so I just lock it at 30 and it plays great!
