Sanctum sucks... But even if it didn't, Djinn Barya are awful to farm. Bring lab back as an option.

In order to get the best chance at beating the sanctum as a melee I need to farm a low level one or sit on poe trade forever as they get sniped before me.
Sitting in the poe trade window has netted me 0 so far as they all get sold immediately. And farming low level areas when my character can do much higher is so painful. What sucks even more is I killed the final boss on my original sanctum at the same time he removed my resolve (nowhere near close to killing me... and I didn't get the points. I miss Lab so much. Please bring it back. Both third and fourth ascendancy should not be RNG drops... 4th is ok but both really sucks. I feel like I am wasting my time farming these low level maps and or zones looking for one to complete... Last bumped on Dec 16, 2024, 12:38:11 PM

" I have to agree. I've been trying to farm ONE Djinn Barya for the past 3 DAYS and have not gotten one drop. It is very infuriating when I have to go back to work and I've spent most of my time trying to farm a dumb token to ATTEMPT a trial. Not Fun. |

Yeah at this point delete these cringe trials and just copy paste lab into it, or better yet just give players the ascendancy points at certain levels. You don't need a complex system for every single thing in the game, there is such a thing as over-designing.

100% agree.
I hated sanctum in PoE 1, and despise it even more in PoE2. I cannot for the life of me complete these god damn sanctum room, my build is supposed to be decent at it, but I can make it to the boss of room 2 like 1 times out of 5 at lvl 80, this is stupid. Also the drops are quite rare so in SSF it's a pain just to finnaly get another go and fail again. Also I really dislike the fact that ultimatum are gated to much higher level to get the same ascendacy point set. It kinda go against the point of having a choice of trials like advertised I disliked lab in PoE 1, but this is 10000% better than trial of sekemas / ultimatum in poe2 Beta member since 0.9.8

This cancerous trials need to go...I won't stay here to pretend the game is hard when 90% of people just know it's bullsh1t...
Having mobs that one shot you and stupid mechanics, with mobs that overlap buffs on them that make them almost immortal is not hard game, it's called archnemesis 2.0 bull.... Never invite Vorana, Last To Fall at a beer party.

Sanctum is terrible, I don't know what is going on but i cant seem to get an inscribed ultimatum to do the third lab. Doing sanctum on melee is absolutely awful.
This is something core to builds, but favors people to play certain types of builds. This is the kind of nonsense that incentivizes people to do carry runs on tft for currency. Which is an aspect of poe1 that i had hoped ggg would have adjusted for in poe2. I reckon thats not the case though. I remember the "Poe 2 is to fix melee" Where is the logic in forced sanctum. |

It is just aweful.
I am lev 76 in T7 maps and not the 3 lab done :D I also want a low lev 3.lab trial. Dont know where to farm it and even if i know dont want to do low lev zones for some fucked up trial. |
