My lightning invoker monk just got ruined by the patch and I don't understand why

EDIT FIX: Use Cold Infusion and/or Glaciation in Herald of Thunder and you get your charges back!

I was using Combat Frenzy to generate frenzy charges on freeze/electrocution, then I have the talent that converts frenzy to power charges. Before the patch I got a charge every 6-8 seconds, but now it's just totally gone. What in the world happened and how can I fix it? I literally cannot play the game because I don't understand what to do. I was using herald of thunder/ice and charged staff+tempest flurry. It worked 2 minutes before the patch, and now it never procs. NEVER

Edit: Seems to me they RUINED my build by making freeze and electrocute not work on white mobs. Now I have no way to generate charges any more and my build is bricked. Welp, after spending god knows how many hours to get to lvl 80++ and getting shit on when I already have arguably the worst class (minus the broken ice comet stuff) in the game is just too much. If you don't fix this within 1 day I won't be playing any more.

Revert the changes on white mobs only for the Frenzy Charge skill is a good solution since the real problem is cast on crit and cast on freeze. No need to ruin all the other skills that aren't a problem. Or you could add shock as a generator for it to proc instead of electrocute and keep the white mob change as is.

this comes off extremely entitled and expecting them to respond/fix in 1 day is very strange. I understand how you feel but this is early access. all things are subject to change at a moments notice.

Entitled? No. Entitled is taking people's builds away from them without offering free respecs or a way to fix what they ruined. Why should I keep playing a game (I paid 60$ for btw) when at a moment's notice my character gets effectively deleted? Only a moron would accept that
