Changing Ascendancy

I think it would be a cool idea to add the ability to change ascension. I hear a lot of stories about newbies choosing the wrong ascension due to ignorance. They forget about it, and then they can't assemble the build they dream of.

Stuck in Blood Mage, so...yeah

I would like for there to be a grind-able way to do it similar to Token of Absolution in Diablo 2.

Personally I think it should be hard to swap identities as easily as it was in PoE1, ascending just felt like a passive tree extension instead of an identity.

But I can see more reasons that it would help than harm to add a way to change ascendancies. The middle ground is to not make it a trivial "click a few UI elements" choice.

Something like the gold cost behind higher on the first two points of the tree. This keeps gold costs in line to change HOW you are allocated on an ascendancy, but also gives you a higher cost if you simply wish to leave the ascendancy.

i.e. your gold costs are the same if you are swapping points around, but the gold cost to change ascendancy is higher.

I see that as the happy middle ground.
