Gatekeeping Character Progression behind RNG heavy mechanics is a terrible idea...

Sorry GGG, but implementing Sanctum as a forced mechanic to get Ascended is just awful design. I do love and enjoy PoE 2 but please, this needs to change.

- Trials where you have to kill Rare Monsters with Random modifiers, have fun running in circles as melee because you get chased by 25 volatile projectiles from Monster mods + their own projectiles.
- Afflictions, don't have to state the obvious RNG nature of them being able to Brick your run immediatly because YOU HAVE to pick one and even the best one is so bad that it bricks your run in future rooms anyways.
- Honor system, goes hand in hand with the above, wouldn't mind those rare monsters if this terrible Honor mechanic would not exist at all.
- As known to anyone but somehow not to GGG: Sanctum heavily favors specialized builds to complete it consistantly.
- Access is at random, RNG luck out and get a coin dropped or grind for multiple hours and pray that the attempt is not wasted anyways.

Lab was boring yes, but atleast it was the same for everyone else on a daily basis und it didnt matter if you play melee or range, same chances for everyone.

Kinda the same goes for Ultimatum but thats just overtuned by the numbers not by RNG (atleast not as much as Sanctum)

Enduring it once is more than enough, if i have to do this in future leagues i dont know, i rather just sit on my 4 points or just stop playing entirely.

Those two mechanics were super nieche and they should stay super nieche to people who enjoy it and not being enforced on every player.
