Minion hitboxes and collision problems

Because of this bug where minions get stuck in narrow passages, many maps become unplayable. The same situation happens when minions disappear when you get too far away from them, for example, when you run. Instead of them dying, they should be teleported back to you. Otherwise, most maps become unplayable.

I am actively enjoying PoE2 right now, and enjoying playing minions.

The minion mechanics seem better than PoE 1 and i am currently enjoying them for the most part.




What exactly better? That you can "control" them by giving commands using "~" and they stay 3 seconds after that and make a photo like rare monster killing you ? or sometimes they dont move doesnt matter how much you press the button? Cause 1) Minions often body block each other in small spaces .2) Frost mages are almost melee with very low range of cast. Arsonist are very similar to fire golems in poe1. 3) Most active skills/command skills are total shit and not worth to press it. 4) Minion "types" are very boring - we dont have specter's, golems, sentinels (My favorite minions in poe 1 - Vaal Absolution). We dont have enough support gem to proper use multiple minions. For example arsonist and SRS - both attack type minions and you cannot use attack speed support gem twice. If you playing arsonists - you dont have enough gems for srs that they were impactful enough.

If you run during the map without MS boots - just run forward - the base MS of minions isn't enough to follow you, they start dying and if you met rare monster - your minions are on revive CD.(its fcking JOKE mechanic). We dont have convocation.

For me its seems that you never played or never tried multiple minion builds in poe1.Like im not Ghazzy, but in poe1 i tried a lot minions builds and they are MUCH BETTER then here. And gearing minion build in poe1 much better cause here we dont have currency which gives us minion tag,minion bases (like rings) etc.

If i throw away my rings in poe2 on my skeletal frost mages - i loose NOTHING. I have cap res without rings, we dont have minion modes/minion bases for rings. I dont need hp and mana from rings, the small boost may be is flat evasion. Only ventors are good// we dont have build variety. Same with other gear. Like we cannot craft minion damage on gloves. We cannot have something like +1 skeletal mage on boots or body armor like +1 spectre modifier in poe1 etc.

So,what EXACTLY BETTER?

Im playing minions too and body blocking is a real problem, thankfully they respawn fast when you move away from them but waiting for respawn after moving away isnt the solution (they should teleport back to you at least).

I've seen plenty of threads about minion body blocking but no one says anything about bodyblocking between characters. I sometimes play in party with friends and if you're moving in a group with same move speed, constantly getting blocked by someone is starting to get VERY annoying.
Yes, the reavers are even worse.

I really hope GGG addresses the minion collision issue. I've already had to log off a few times dying to this nonsense
