Decrease revive time
Currently playing in a party is not the best experience, especially at boss fights.
If a party member dies from a party of 2, it is almost impossible for the remaining one to revive him. The revive time is too long and it will always be interrupted. Practically the only option is to continue the battle alone, or give up, so you can start again. This should be easily fixed by decreasing the revive time by 1-2 seconds. " maybe not even decrease but simply allow getting damaged whilst reviving. Act 2 first boss for example is simply impossible to revive a teammate during the fight because you get constant arrow shots from the cliff in a 2 second intervall. The dead party member dont get xp and dont get drop. This clearly is a design issue. |

I agree, that in a 2 player party revive is almost impossible.
While I like the basic idea, that some time is needed to revive, the time is too long not to be interrupted every time. I see two possible solutions, maybe in combination: 1) Damage does not interrupt. If you are willing to take the damage and live, you should be rewarded with continuing to revive. 2) Keep your revive-progress for some time (maybe 8 to 10 seconds), so you can dodge a boss-mechanic and return to revive without starting from zero, if you show commitment to the revive by continuing fast enough. Yeah I'd be willing to pay the health tax if we could just revive with interrupt. Maybe even if reviving placed a vulnerability debuff to take a little extra damage per hit for the duration of the attempt.

Also voting for a decrease in revive time or please consider the following as some potential changes:
1: when as 2 players make the revive faster 2: damage doesn't break the revive 3: timer isn't reset when you have to runaway 4: extra players increase revive speed 5: have a "downed" but not dead state for the first 1-2 downs in which case a revive would be faster and after that if the player goes down then let them die causing a longer reive timer. I'm not saying add them all as that would make it too OP to revive but any of those would alleviate some issues. You could also limit the number of revives each player can have as a counter measure. |
