Adamant recovery and Ancient Aegis doesn't work

Both these notables don't do anything for energy shield. Aegis outright does nothing and Recovery should increase my energy shield by another 36% due to 3 minor nodes leading to it granting 12% armor each, but it does nothing as well

I am a native French speaker, but I play in English due to translation issues in French. When I switched the game back to French, I didn't see any effects initially. Surprisingly, the translation now conveys a different meaning in French, but the effect associated with this different French translation is indeed applied.

If I translate it back into English, it says that:
Reduction and augmentation applie to armour applies to energy shield regeneration with 40% of ther value.
This does match up, as I can confirm anincrease in my energy shield regeneration.

It's a shame though—I actually preferred the effect in the English version
