Rare monster mod for revives minions
simply put the mod should only revive enemies if they are nearby the rare with the mod.
i ended up pulling the rares minions away because they were blocking a thin path on the dreadnought only for them to get up constantly in that narrow corridor preventing me from getting to the rare that makes them revive Last bumped on Dec 18, 2024, 5:19:29 PM

This monster mod is a problem in tight spaces: even if you can kill the minions in half a second, they are respawned before you can move through. You can get into a situation where you can't progress. It doesn't feel like an intended mechanic because it doesn't matter if you have 50 times the required DPS for a map. If the minions are too big and in a tight space and they get stuck between you and the room where the rare is hiding, then they form a perfect infinite loop of a block, and there is nothing you can do. I believe a reasonable solution would be to add a small cooldown to the revive, like 2 to 5 seconds. This way the minions are still very much alive most of the time and the mod is an effective threat, but not in the way that it completely prevents you from reaching the rare monster reviving them. |

I consistently run into a minion pack 1000 miles away from their rare which leads to me running from an immortal minion pack the entire map. |
