Ritual\breach on maps are insane bs

I'm on t6+ maps and half of all rituals and breaches kill me. I have no problems with survivability in general on maps, but the number of enemies that spawn these events is taken from poe1 and does not fit at all in poe2, where you have less survivability and damage cuz gameplay much slower in general. Dodge is pointless if you are surrounded by ten enemies in a second. Does anyone else feel the same on maps? Like t5+ map players

Have exact same issue. Normal maps, while still challenging, with current mechanics in game are still doable. Poe1 mechanics are not well transitioned into poe 2 at all. The worts feeling is when you are swamped with multiple opponents, some of them are yellow enemies with affixes so brutal that you cannot even outrun them, you see all that loot that drops from them (tablets, orbs that are so scarce) and you got overwhelmed. That leads to my 2nd point (which is not topic of this thread so I wont go into that much), that you can have both this kind of overrun mechanics and only single entry to the map. HnS suppose to be about loot and getting killed without being able to even pick things after breach closes is painfull to say the least.
breach is extremely undoable if you dont have aoe. enemies just spawn too much and are too fast.
I'm now running into this same issue. I have no issues with the tier 1-4 maps generally but the moment I step into a breach I'm dead.
they're making all "extra" content super overpowered. my suggestion is skip it all and just keep pushing to high tier maps ASAP.

the only extra content that's easy is essence and greater essences can sell for like 30 ex.

just run what you can and skip what you cant. once your power spikes maybe you can handle breaches etc.
Breach and Ritual don't fit the new game at all.
Delirium is still acceptable because at least the places where monsters appear are visible and we are not limited by such a closed area.

There's nothing like playing with flameblast, preparing ice walls, and then less than 0.5 seconds after entering the breach, 40 monsters jump on our character, stun him and we die literally instantly. There isn't even time to cast a single spell...
These mechanics are OP af and don't fit into the game because they just copy-pasted them over from PoE 1 with absolutely 0 balancing or testing or thought put into it and called it a day. This endgame is extremely lacking,unfinished and rushed. Like why does a favorite map system not exist? Doing it like some kind of infinite delve map is so bad, people will get bored of being forced to do random maps with bad layouts and bad bosses.
Breach, Ritual and Delirium were my least favourite mechanics in PoE1 and they're even worse here. I'm not sure why GGG picked these. I ignore all of them and just run expeditions. Hoping for something better than this in the full release.
