I can also confirm. I verified my game files and it stopped crashing. I had the exact same issue with the bridge.

I'm having the same such issues!....Such an annoyance having done 7 -10 stages and final boss to then get DC'd and loose the run completely! Not even any backup like loot in mail like other games or given a new ultimatumm token for another run. I think this may need addressing for all players tbh. I just think it would be fair for people if there was some sort of unclaimed loot stash at the waypoint if this happens, at least then the run wasn't wasted :)

This happened to me when also when I played the Ranger (didn't have any issues with my other chars: a Monk, 2 Sorceresses, a Mercenary).
I tried fiddling with the graphics settings, nothing worked. What worked - since I have a dualboot system (Win 10 + ubuntu 22.04) I continued the gameplay on Ubuntu and it worked like a charm :) Last edited by klawbones#7339 on Jan 22, 2025, 8:27:51 AM

Experiencing the same issue. I reach the final room in the Trials and then it's a crash to desktop every single time. I also get the full PC freeze bug on trying to start up after that.

I fixed my crashes same way as others, I had to "Varify integrity of game files" on Steam and it solved the crashing.

Just posting to say that I got a crash after the boss in Sekhamas, in the reward room before I could get my first ascension. Now I don't have the consumable that lets you retry, so I guess I just can't get the ascension till act 3?

Just beat the trial of chaos, used ultimatum fragments to fight the trial boss for my final acendency points and the game froze on his final phase, killing me. Lost all progress and fragments. That trial is a waste of time and resources
