attacks not hitting
there is a problem with hit detection,
wasnt realy a problem until Balbala. i am playing warrior with two handed mace and more than half of my attacks didnt register. i think this is a known problem, saw some similar topics but still wanted to point that out. just bumping this as it happened to me too only when fighting balbala, two fights now as melee monk incredibly drawn out because I am unable to really connect at all. feels like hit are not registering but also balbala will constantly dash off and disappear so maybe its intended but anyways feels like I'm fighting the game and not the boss

Bump as I too am also pulling my hair out trying to fight certain bosses. This hit registry is way too broken and unplayable in this state. Warrior Titan here. On Act 3. Just beat Ketzull High Priest of the Sun during Legacy of the Vaal quest and I must say, only hitting that boss 50% of the time was probably one of the most toxic fights I had to do as a melee class in any game.

I should also note that I am on PS5 and it happens to packs of mobs as well. Same for trying to hit someone with Boneshatter mark above their head. It always misses on the first attempt.

Do you all have enough accuracy? Check in your advanced skill info.

Deffinately check your accuracy stat. It's important even for melee as well as ranged and can quite easily ruin your day.

get the resolute technique keystone passive. if you are still missing then there is a problem, but other than the giant titan/statue boss I haven't had any problems with hitboxes.

If you guys actually read the Accuracy flavor text it clearly states "Player and Minion Attacks incur an Accuracy penalty based on distance from the origin of the damage to the target, with NO PENALTY FOR TARGETS WITHIN 2 METERS and up to 90% less Accuracy for targets further than 12 meters away.
Well considering Warrior Titan is a MELEE based class and literally hits a target point blank that would mean my attacks are 2 meters away from the target since moves like Armor break and auto attack and Boneshatter all hit on point blank contact. And even still it literally only registers every other action. So no. You are all wrong and this post is relevant. |

" You are misunderstanding how accuracy works. You still need it in melee but you need less than ranged projectile attacks. The NO PENALTY text just means that accuracy fully applies in melee, not that you don't need it at all. Last edited by fouquet#0993 on Dec 13, 2024, 4:26:21 PM

Just a shot in the dark, not saying you are doing this, but you're not interrupting the attacks, are you? You can interrupt even basic attacks if you click too fast and interrupt it mid-swing to cause the animation to restart and no hit gets registered.
