[PoE2][Feedback][Act 1] Merc overpowered or rather currently broken?

Hello there,

I have built a Merc. Current level is 12. I use its primary "Basic Bolt" only, nothing else, no skills or spells. Also equipped with yellow and orange and runed gear, which have been looted and stored by my other chars.

It one-shots everything, 2-shots shielded enemies, 4~5-shots world minibosses and it just even killed "The King in the Mists" Boss in Freythorn in under 1 minute total. I love the King's voice when transformed!!

For comparison, my Sorc needed many attempts and died often against the Mists King. The Merc did it with ease. It rox, I love it, but somehow feels broken compared to the Sorc and Witch I have.

I have even taken screenshots of my build and gear, and recorded some short gameplay through Steam.

Broken/Unbalanced, or overpowered as intended?

I am now on my way to the "The Executioner" in Ogham Village. As I always clear whole maps, I might reach Level 14 when hitting The Executioner. Will record whole match against him .. If the Merc is still that overpowered by my current build, I gonna upload that Clip.

Current Merc Level is 13, in Ogham Village, still one-shots everything with Basic Bolts :)

My Merc killed the Executioner in quick 35 hits only. Sadly Steam Recording feature does not recognize PoE2 sound. This clip is without sound so. An issue which needs to be fixed by the PoE2 Dev Team.

Re-done the Executioner with the Galvanic Shards .. and it is funny .. while having the "single-target" Basic Bolt equipped earlier, there were masses of adds incoming. Now with the AoE Galvanic Shards equipped, nearly no any adds were incoming towards me to chase me.

So this match had exactly handled me in straight opposite .. as the Boss matches were vice versa against my equipped weapons .. it either looks too obvious this match is scripted against equipped weapons, or it was a heavy coincidence ..

Started a mercenary SSF post patch yesterday. Quit late act 2 because it's so slow and boring I couldn't stomach any more of it.

So no, Mercenary isn't brokenly strong, if anything it's the opposite.
