Bone Shatter hits missing.
I am playing as a warrior in POE 2 E.A. (WASD M&K, which is incredible) and I notice Bone shatter misses very frequently. I can be looking right at a target and during the entire animation and still miss. I am not sure if this is a hit box problem or targeting problem but it has caused a lot of unnecessary deaths on my end.
I will continue to focus on each event to see if there is something influencing this miss, but i have noticed a trend just yet. Thank you for the continued support GGG. This game is great!! Last bumped on Apr 9, 2025, 1:42:52 PM

This one is very likely an accuracy rating issue. Attacks have accuracy, and enemies have evasion - unless you take the passive node where you can never miss and can never crit.
Boost your accuracy rating, get some dex, or you'll miss attacks. |

It is an accuracy issue. I was having the same issue and GGG's recent post about fixing it made me think that it was just broken but I allocated Resolute Technique and haven't missed since.

Yeah it's accuracy, but it seems to interact weirdly with this ability. Even with 98% acc, boneshatter always misses the first hit and then always hits the second one for some reason.

Patch 0.2, 98% tool tip accuracy and boneshatter misses often, connects on second or third hit. Allocating resolute technique fixes, but either tool tip is wrong or there is a bug here.

There's something definitely going on with the accuracy thing on tooltip, I think it overestimates the hit chance.
I dunno the whole accuracy thing makes sense in a very old fashioned arpg where you stand in front of mob and you can only take turns whacking each other. In a game like POE2 you can *actually* dodge attacks, so it's weird having a 2nd layer of hit/miss calculations on top. Visually it makes no sense. |

Accuracy
Not playing with RT is never fun. Even if you have 98%, monsters have the mod "evasive" constantly. Which will also effect how you hit it without RT. Theres also blind you have to worry about as well. Havent played without RT, but it sounds like a nightmare. Mash the clean

I had reach support socketed, that's 80% reduced accuracy (!) But tooltip didn't reflect this. I removed reach and it was better, still feel like something is off...
