Game hard freezes my PC requiring a reboot every 3 / 4 loading screens

Problem sadly still exists

Have same issue, GGG has not even mentioned this problem, there's a thread on reddit, with 58+ people with this same issue.

Issue still persists and has not been acknowledged. CPU usage goes to %100 and stays like that until you reset your pc. Disallowing PoE to use 2 virtual threads sometimes allows you to exit the game without restart but still, crash happens.

Having the same issue. First noticed this when they implemented a graphics patch
related to getting ready for PoE 2, on PoE1 and it exhibit the same exact issue when moving over to PoE 2. Sound disables, can't move mouse, and CPU hits 100%. Temp fix was switching to DirectX11 but since a recent patch that they said fixed crashes, now I'm back to getting this crash again.

Also having this problem.

Seems to be AMD based systems running Windows 11 24H2 that are affected.

I have stopped playing at this point due to the frequent inability to load into maps without freezing my computer.

Same issue here on high end computer.. Since starting playing PoE2 this is the first time my computer has frozen totally, and since friday it happend around 10 times, most of them in the past 2 days. (if that means anything /shrug)

im just here to keep it alive. I also need resolutions here.

I have a gut feeling that this "bug" or whatever slowly kills our PCs since we always have to force em to shutdown etc.
