Support Gem Bug

Occasionally when swapping skills, it will grey out all of my support gems options saying, "This support gem can't be socketed in this skill" for every single skill (including the "recommended" ones), effectively making it so I can't even make support gems. It used to fix itself if I closed the game and re-opened it, but now it's just persistently broken and can no longer make support gems.

I have the same problem, I don't know how to fix this I can only create for 2 skills support gems the rest is all greyed out the level doesn't matter.

This is very annyoing and I can't really progress with the skills. I will post screenshots later.


EDIT: Found a Solution for the issue.

If you can't select a Support Gem via the skill itself, try on the bottom left all gems and search for your gem you need there its not greyed out.

Same issue on PC.

Disabling the "Gemcutting Restrictions" in the settings menu does not help the issue.

I was able to get around this bug by unequipping 'Vitality', the Persistent Support Buff.

Game would not let me buy a duplicate skill despite having 'Gemcutting Restrictions' disabled in Options -> Game.

I removed the gem from my skills UI window, cut the gem, and am now using both skills just fine. So it's not even an actual restriction that you can't use 2 duplicate gems at the same time.

Just tried the thing that one above you did.
JUST UNEQUIP VITALITY.
and somehow it's functioning again!

I'm experiencing this problem with both Seismic Cry and Infernal Cry, but no other skill.

Unequipping Vitality from another support gem, as suggested above, did not fix it.

+1 bug still occuring for infernal cry

Edit: All I did was consume a lesser jeweller's orb on the already socketed infernal cry making it impossible to select any new supp gems

I have the same issue,

I cannot cut any support gem to any skill.
It is only possiblle to cut new supports for Mace Strike...
I was also using jeweler orbs for socketed skills, but only for two of them

Still have this issue. Specifically for 'elemental sundering' and 'trinity'. Re-logging, swapping around skills or supports, cutting brand new gems ect doesn't seem to work. Clicking 'recommended' for supports for these skills only lists greyed out skills that say they can't be used with said skill, and unchecking it results in a larger list of the same thing.
